Bar
Our hotel’s main bar, the Casablanca Bar waits for our Guests from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. every day, depending on the occupancy. Our Guests can participate in a special live music program in the Casablanca Bar, depending on the occupancy. From 10:00 p.m. to 11 p.m. cheese specialties from Bükk can be tasted each night. Oriental program is offered on Saturdays.
The Menta Bar, located in the area of the Arabic Bath House, is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Beach Bar of the Moroccan Relaxation Garden provides a place for recreation seasonally (from late spring to early autumn) from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
You can order meals in our bars from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. every day.
Bathrobe, spa towel, sauna sheet
The room’s price includes the use of bathrobes and room towels placed in your room based on the number of guests that were indicated when the room was booked. On the day of departure, please leave them in your room, on the bed. Spa towels and sauna sheets are given to you at the Wellness Reception in exchange for the wellness card you have received on arrival. On the day of departure, please return the textiles and give the wellness card, together with the room card, to the receptionist. Your spa towel may be changed once a day; and the sauna sheet can be changed after the sauna séances.
Bathroom towels
The bathroom towels are placed in your bathroom. If you would like to change your towels, please leave them on the bathroom floor.
Bed mattress and bedding set
Its rest is ensured by the Cardo luxury mattress, Billerbeck and Billerbeck bedding set.
Extra pillows and blankets are available on request. If you need another type of pillow, you can find out about our offer from Párnamenü. Please report your request to our colleagues at the Reception.
Your bedding will be changed at least twice a week, however, if you want to change your bedding, please let us know at the Reception.

If you need more blankets, please ask the Reception for them.

Breakfast
Our half-board service: we offer buffet breakfast and buffet dinner, however, the main meals are arranged in two groups. You can choose from the following mealtimes on arrival: breakfast between 07:00 a.m. and 09:00 a.m. and dinner between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., or breakfast between 09:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and dinner between 8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. We offer rich buffet breakfast, or, on request and for a fee, a la carte breakfast. We provide cold pack for our guests who leave early on the day of departure on request. Please inform the Reception the previous day.

Cooling/heating
The entire area of our hotel can be heated and cooled with automatic setting. Also, our Guests can set the heating and cooling individually on the thermostat unit.
Cooling/heating in the rooms with a digital thermostat
The room’s cooling/heating equipment can be controlled with the wall thermostat with a LCD display. The system is switched on with the mode button on the left, under the thermostat’s display; please use the same button to select whether you need the cooling or the heating mode. Below the display, the fan speed selector button is found on the right. To set the desired temperature, please press the “down arrow” or “up arrow” on the display’s right side. Please note: the heating and cooling system only operates with closed doors and windows.

Departure
Dear Guests, please leave your rooms until 11 a.m. on the day of departure. If you would like to stay longer, please contact the Reception previously. Late check-out option is provided for an extra charge, depending on the hotel’s occupancy.
Dress code
We kindly ask you to dress for the occasion in different areas of our hotel to appear. In our Casablanca Bar area, please do not appear in swimwear and robes After 6 p.m. Appearance in Shiraz and Dubai Garden restaurants, swimwear and robes is not permitted. Thank you for your understanding and kind cooperation!

Egerszalók
The village with almost 2,000 inhabitants is located at the confluence of the Mátra and the Bükk, in the valley of the Laskó stream. With its characteristic formations, fine wines and medicinal water, the village is one of the climates of the region. The real attraction of Egerszalók is the thermal water spring erupting from the depths of the land in the southern part of the village. The water flowing from the hillside of this spring formed the limestone deposit, the salt hill, which is also a unique attraction in Europe. A popular excursion destination for visitors to Egerszalók is the hive stones on the outskirts of the village, which were formed as a result of volcanic aftermath, as well as cave dwellings carved into rhyolite tuff stone and the Saffron Garden. The lake, which is inflated on the Laskó stream, is also of significant natural value and is also a popular destination for hikers.

Hammam
You can relax in the unique steam rooms of our Iranian Hammam, where your body is completely cleansed at almost 100% humidity and 45 degrees Celsius. At 3:30 p.m. every day, our spa master guides our Guests to the world of traditional Hammam steam bathing, which remained unchanged for 1,000 years.

Horse riding
The Mátyus Riding Farm, near Egerszalók, offers child and adult riding services, riding lessons and field riding. Near our sister hotel, the Karap Riding Farm offers child and adult riding services, riding lessons and field riding in Felsőtárkány. If you would like to ride a horse or travel on a horse carriage, please contact the Reception.

LEISURE ACTIVITIES IN THE SURROUNDING AREA
The location and facilities of Shiraz Hotel guarantees many possibilities for hiking, sightseeing, sport, and for those guests who want to enjoy the spa, a comfortable sun lounger and other relaxing activities.
Cave houses
The connected cave houses on Sáfrány Street are owned by the local government and are under local protection. The open-air museum in the cave dwellings offers its exciting community venues as an architectural monument of local history, taking into account cultural and spiritual roots and folklore traditions. The cave complex provides space for folk showrooms, craft workshops, folk craft training rooms, a wine showroom, a small outdoor stage and a country house. The tuff stone forming the upper layer of the Bükkalja region, which stretches from the Tarna Valley to Miskolc, is easy to cut and carve. Today 18 cave settlements are known in Bükkalja. In the middle of the 19th century there were 33 cave dwellings in Egerszalók, some of them were inhabited even in the 60’s, some are still used today e.g. summer kitchen.
Demjéni-Thermal Valley
Bathing in the Roman-inspired Thermal Valley in Demjen. Lined with beautiful mosaics, the new Demjen Spa for health tourism awaits its guests with four pools and a total of forty-two experience elements. At night, the pools are illuminated, which gives the spa a magical atmosphere.5 Thermal pool with different temperature elements, 25 m swimming pool, Finnish sauna, rubber-ring rafting and kamikaze slide, split-track slide, diving pool.
Egerszalók Spa and Wellness Bath
The Egerszalók spa and wellness spa is located on the border of Egerszalók, next to the famous Sódomb, 1300 m away from our hotel. The facility with a water surface of 1900 m2 has a total of 17 outdoor and indoor pools – spa water pools, whirlpool, adventure pools, water slides, children’s pools ensure a pleasant stay for both older and younger people.
Egerszalók walk
The walk along the natural treasures of Egerszalók, implemented in 2007 within the framework of the Regional Development Operational Program, guides the visitor. The trail presents the unique salt hill in Europe, the area of which has expanded from the previous 1,200 square meters to 3,000 square meters due to the development, as well as the special rhyolite tuff formations and hive stones typical of the region. In addition to the tourist attraction, the demonstration trail contributes to the preservation of these natural values. The approximately 2.9 km walk offers the joy of movement and relaxation, as well as the uniquely healthy climate of the valley – and the salt hill – for those wishing to heal.
Salt hill
Excellent salts from its thermal water, which is very rich in minerals at 65-68 ° C, continuously build lacy white limestone tuff formations. The salt mound is an unparalleled attraction in Europe. It has been a well-known and popular medicinal water for decades. The medicinal water is suitable for the treatment of joint and rheumatic ailments, spinal diseases, bone injuries, musculoskeletal disorders and certain gynecological diseases, among others.
Lido
The Nostalgia Strandfürdő, which also welcomes guests for night bathing, is located on the outside of the spa and wellness spa and is open from Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 9 am to 11 pm, and from Friday to Saturday from 9 am to 1 am.

Relaxation huts

Restaurant
The Shiraz and Dubai Garden Restaurants offer the specialties of the Hungarian and international cuisine from 12 a.m. to 10 p.m. The rich buffet breakfast or a’la carte breakfast is available from 7 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., a’la carte or full board lunch from 12 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the buffet or á la carte dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Depending on our occupancy, we try to apply a seating arrangement in our restaurant.
Room safe
The room safe is on the wardrobe’s shelf. Please find the user’s manual next to the safe. The safe can be used with its own security code. We assume responsibility only for the valuables stored at the Reception.

Spa and Wellness
The spa and wellness services are available from 08:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day. In the Bath House and Spa, you can walk under the Moorish arches to enter the various rooms providing different opportunities for recreation. The pools, the saunas and steam chambers of various temperatures, the Arabic Courtyard and the Moroccan Garden provide relaxation for both the body and the soul all day. In the Persian sauna world, you can enjoy the heat of the glowing lava stones in two Finnish saunas. The walls of our organic sauna are covered with alpine straw and their scent is enriched by the soft vapour of the herbs collected in the Bükk Mountains. In our spacious infra-sauna cabin, not only the in-depth infrared rays, but also the high oxygen content of the cabin helps to regenerate, thanks to the Pakistani salt bricks. Sit back in our Aqua Meditation Room and immerse yourself in the play of the rings created by the dripping water. Our Iranian Hammam section pampers the lovers of the steam in an oriental treatment room with 2 steam rooms and 2 heated stone beds. Take part in our special sauna rituals and our Hammam traditions several times a day, and enjoy the fruits and mint tea, as well. The experience showers are enriched with different aromatic scents.

We can provide wellness use before 12:00 on the day of arrival and after 12.00 on the day of travel for a wellness extension fee, which is 50% of the valid spa entrance fee. Weprovide a luggage room, lockers, bath towels and a sauna sheet for our guests. Please indicate this need at the Reception!
